I Scream You Scream -- GELATO!!

Laboratorio Artigianale is the name of this gelato shop in a nook on a street in Ponte-Rome. During our first day of class, we were allowed a coffee break. 100 degrees and coffee? No thank you. Mimi and I found our (current) favorite gelato shop to help us cool down in this roman heat. ( a heat like no other btw) I tried the mango and she tried basil. I know what you are thinking..basil?? But trust me it was DEVINE. Think of this as a mom and pop store..or is it mamá and papá store? Sorry, that was my attempt at cracking a joke. This homemade gelato really hit the spot and I WILL make this my coffee break destination this summer.
